GSTV is seeking a passionate and experienced Programmatic Analyst as part of the ongoing acceleration to data-driven automated media trading models and partnerships, this newly created role will help advance the new programmatic business.  

The Programmatic Analyst will report direct to the VP, of Digital Partnerships who oversees the growing Programmatic business as well as Digital Extensions. This analyst will work with a number of internal departments from planning to sales to engineering as well as external partners including SSPs and DSPs. 

The ideal candidate must possess a broad-based media background with leading knowledge in the programmatic trading space and have the ability to problem solve and multi-task.  It will be critical to be self-motivated and driven to build the best solutions possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with VP, Digital Partnerships, technology team and third-party partners shape GSTV's automated and programmatic solutions.
  • Continually strive to improve systems and operations to grow GSTV programmatic revenue.
  • Manage weekly meetings with third party partners and internal technology team. 
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on activity and revenue. 
  • Coordinate with planning team to setup PMP deals as needed.
  • Participate in the creative review and approval process for Programmatic campaigns.
  • Setup and manage self-serve programmatic campaigns in a variety of platforms including Vistar, Simpli.fi and others.
  • Ongoing data analysis on campaign performance and overall network health.
  • Knowledge expert who can support the sales team and assist indirectly in their revenue goals.

 Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree.   
  • 3+ years media industry experience including data analysis and programmatic activations.   
  • Passion for, and deep understanding of digital media monetization products and trends, strong knowledge of advertising technology.   
  • Ability to think outside the box to come up with unique solutions and challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate efforts across a large organization (both internally and externally), to achieve key deliverables.   
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.

Skills:

  • Programmatic knowledge / aptitude
    • Technology: core knowledge of programmatic transaction workflow, bid request / response mechanics, interplay between DSPs, SSPs + DMPs and who the major players are at each level of the ad tech stack
    • Data: ability to look at log-level files to uncover stories with data.
    • Tools: experience working with SSPs / DSPs / ad servers preferred
  • Strong organizational / time management skills and be detailed oriented.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Be a self-starter with a diligent work ethic and demonstrated flexibility.
  • Able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
